EVO FITNESS - CLAREMONT, CAPE TOWN

PROWLERS. SQUAT CAGES. KETTLEBELLS. ROPES. TYRES. SANDBAGS. WEIGHTED VESTS.

This is the type of equipment that you'll see when first stepping into this strength fueled performance gym in the heart of Claremont, Cape Town. Run by a like-minded crew of personal trainers who all have their own expertise in the field of strength, functional fitness and handing your ass to you.
Founded by David Cross and De Waal Gerstner with the aim of creating a no-nonsense, train hard - reap the rewards style gym. You won't find treadmills, stationary bikes or anything of the likes in here.

As they say themselves; "The facility is designed for those people who are serious about their training and serious about finally getting the results they pay for. The work we do with our clients at Evo Fitness, not only benefits you inside the facility, but has a large carry over to everything you do outside of the facility."

Evo Fitness has been recognized as the go-to gym for high performance as their clientele includes professional and high level college rugby athletes to MMA fighters in the EFC  however. Don't let this fool you though, Evo is all about training, no matter who you are or what you aim to achieve - Be it your first time stepping into a gym or your ten millionth.

Unlike many gyms out there, Evo Fitness place a high amount of focus on ensuring that clients perform exercises with proper technique and form, ensuring that injuries and other mishaps don't take place and therefor putting your training to a halt - Something that is quite rare (unfortunately) in this industry.

Workouts range from; The standard one-on-one/paired training, where you'll have your routine written up and you'll be guided each step of the way through your training journey - And for those that feel the need of the challenge, Evo Fitness have been running a high-intensity training class called MELTDOWN. This is where the "handing your ass to you" comes in.

First session is free and after signing up, you can have as many sessions per a month as you can possibly handle - Supplement your training with it or just do these classes on their own - either way, you'll get fitter, stronger and leaner than ever before. I URGE crossfit enthusiasts to give this a go.
